Duties & Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Assist with sourcing and recruitment by posting jobs on AT platforms, reviewing and identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, and sending employment offers to choose candidates. Maintain recruiting requisitions and interview questions.
- On-Boarding: Ensure new hires are set up in the HRIS and other systems to receive pay and benefits. Facilitate new hire orientation and provide support for new hire training.
- Offboarding: Manage the termination process, including separation documentation, exit interview, succession plan, and legal matters. Attend termination meetings, if necessary, or serve as a witness.
Benefits (Health and 401k):
- Day-to-day administration of enrollment/termination and questions on benefits.Lead enrollment processes, plan questions, and open enrollment.
- Work closely with Brokers to ensure all employees comply with benefits eligibility and enrollment.
- Monthly ACA system management.
- Coordination of regular retirement education sessions.
- Management & oversight of all annual required notices.
Employment Relations:
- Facilitate consistent and timely resolution of all employee and leadership issues, concerns, and questions.
- Coordinate and document disciplinary action as required with leadership.
- Recommend best employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive work relationship and promote employee high morale and motivation.
Compliance:
- Maintain a regularly updated Pure Project handbook.
- Ensuring job descriptions are current and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensuring that Pure Project is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage complex and/or sensitive matters and escalate appropriately.
- Tracking of Harassment training to ensure all staff are trained per applicable state law.
- Tracking of required skills, certificates, licensure, etc., using Paycom.
Safety:
- Assist in managing workers' compensation injury claims.
- File reports with insurance providers, maintain accident information, and monitor progress.
- Investigate and work with the safety lead on on-site improvements.
- Coordinate and document Safety training.
Misc:
- Developing training materials and performance management programs to help ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Backup payroll processing.
- Maintain organization of HR files.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Experience in administrative and Human Resources roles.
- Interested and willing to work and learn all functional areas of HR.
- Knowledge of HR and Payroll related software, Paycom preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal and State wage and hour laws.
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and the Affordable Health Care Act.
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring, and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation.
- High level of proficiency in Google Docs/Apps
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation for the importance of accurate information.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and self-learning.
- Strong work ethic with a high desire to accomplish assigned objectives successfully.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
