We are seeking a Human Resources professional who has a broad generalist background working with production or manufacturing organizations. This is an on-location position.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and hire qualified job applicants, which includes collaboration with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Perform background checks and run E-Verify checks. Address discrepancies with company leaders.
- Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications.
- Assist the Moore payroll organization with weekly payroll processing.
- Conduct new hire orientation.
- Assist with annual benefits open enrollment and provide new employee enrollment support.
- Perform data entry tasks in the payroll, HRIS, and benefit platforms.
- Maintain personnel files and documentation, conducting regular compliance audits.
- Track attendance and support managers with performance management issues.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience as a generalist, in production facility a plus
- A demonstrated ability to successfully interact with employees and leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and in particular Word and Excel.
- Bilingual language skills are helpful, but not required.
