Our HR department is making a difference and implementing changes that positively impact our culture and engage our workforce. Our fast-paced, high energy department is adding another experienced, service-driven HR Generalist who will promote Life-Assist’s philosophy and values; ensure quality in all areas and encourage teamwork by coaching and providing support in the department and throughout the organization.
We are looking for candidates with growth potential into an HR leadership role. Backed by over 40 years in business, as we continue to thrive and grow, candidates interested in the HR Generalist position must be able to adapt to our evolving business and people landscape. Interpersonal and behavioral skills such as flexibility, resiliency, and a can-do mindset will lead to success in the role.
What will you do?
Implement Human Resources programs by providing Human Resources services:
- AA/EEO compliance
- recruitment
- compensation
- training and development
- records management
- employee relations and retention
- employment processing
- leaves of absence management (FMLA/CFRA/DFEH/ADA)
Who are you?
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources management, or a related field.
- Minimum seven years of demonstrated broad Human Resources experience across multiple disciplines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two years’ experience in recruiting exempt and non-exempt positions in compliance with AA/EEO requirements.
- Multi-state Human Resources administration experience.
- SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR certification required.
- You’re a communicator, a team player, and a people person
- Work well at multi-tasking in a fast-paced ever moving human resource environment
- Ability to maintain an exemplary level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to maintain a cooperative, professional demeanor with staff and leadership
- Intermediate computer skills, including ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Applicant tracking and onboarding systems.
