Our client is seeking a talented individual to join the as Director of Human Resources where you'll lead their HR function, drive talent acquisition, and spearhead employee engagement initiatives
Under the guidance of the CFO, the Director of Human Resources responsibility for overseeing the strategic planning, organization, and execution of all Human Resources functions. This includes but is not limited to administration, staffing, benefits, compensation, employee relations, HR systems management, compliance, budgeting, legal matters, and operational initiatives. The Director of Human Resources and executes Human Resources strategies tailored to effectively support client and its workforce.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily HR operations, including staffing, benefits, payroll, HRIS, and administrative tasks.
- Lead recruitment endeavors to fulfill the company's staffing requirements
- Develop and maintain job descriptions for compensation and staffing purposes
- Establish and implement HR policies and procedures
- Utilize HRIS proactively to address business needs and enhance understanding of its capabilities
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HR records and documentation
- Approve personnel changes and implement appropriate controls and procedures
- Provide strategic guidance for staffing, compensation, and benefits functions
- Manage leave of absence and worker's compensation matters
- Develop and manage the annual HR budget
- Supervise employment legal matters and liaise with external counsel
- Support compliance audits and examinations
- Coordinate team member engagement, orientation, performance management, and training programs
- Manage all compensation-related activities
- Maintain compensation framework and conduct pay equity analyses
- Direct administration of company benefit plans
- Ensure legal compliance and manage vendor relationships
- Monitor financial performance of benefit plans
