HR Coordinator I
Job Description
CHOICE of NY is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator I to join our team. This is an entry level position with a growth opportunity in a growing company. The Human Resources Coordinator I will work closely with the Director of HR and the leadership team to implement and oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function. The Human Resources Coordinator I will be responsible for developing and implementing Human Resources policies and procedures, assisting in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, leave management, training, employee development and compensation. This is a full-time position requiring Monday-Friday 9-5:00 with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous HR experience in healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and compensation systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of Payroll practices preferred.
- Strong understanding of Employee relations and employee development programs preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and G-Suite applications such as G-Cloud or Google Drive.
