- Assists with the recruitment and selection process including posting job openings, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens and interviews, communicating with candidates and hiring managers, coordinating and following up on the pre-employment process in compliance with Affirmative Action (AA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements. Attends job fairs and coordinates advertising strategies.
- Conducts new hire orientation.
- Updates and maintains associate information with HRIS.
- Coordinates associate engagement activities such as company social events, charitable campaigns, etc.
- Contributes to and edits the monthly newsletter.
- Serves as back up to payroll function to process weekly payroll and maintain accurate timekeeping records.
- Provides customer service to internal associates regarding company policies, benefits, leaves of absence, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
