Job Description
We’re looking for a Coordinator, Talent to join our Chicago team. This person will support the Talent team in a variety of ways and ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience for all. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your horizons within the field of Talent/HR and gain valuable experience at one of the industry’s top digital agencies.
As a Coordinator, Talent you will:
- Assist with onboarding efforts including, but not limited to, new hire paperwork, processing candidate background checks, verification of I-9s, digital file preparation, orientation preparation, and ensuring all benefits enrollment is completed - while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Greet candidates and new hires on their first day and provide office tours and information
- Support our Talent Operations team with special initiatives and projects including our campus recruiting efforts
- Help plan and execute in office events, external partner and candidate visits, and be the external face of the Talent team
- General office management, being a point of escalation for low level needs around the office and helping to maintain a professional looking and feeling space
- Take an active role in contributing to process improvements, communicating professionally and with integrity at all times
- Partner with HR team to understand and implement HR initiatives regionally
- Create process updates; offer suggestions, ideas and key learning’s to further enhance collaborative team environment
- Create or contribute to timelines, schedules and accurate budgets
- Be an advocate of diversity and inclusion and work to incorporate values into overall programs and projects assigned
Qualifications
- College level education or equivalent experience in the Human Resources/Talent/Recruiting field
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to take initiative and ownership, but manage up when needed
- Resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
- Adaptability; able to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a collaborative environment and partner with diverse teams across multiple locations
- Can prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality whenever appropriate
