The ideal candidate is self-motivated and goal-oriented with a keen eye for details. This position delves into policies and regulations enforced on a federal, state, local, industry, and company level. Training (and probationary periods) will be arranged and provided as appropriate, but the candidate will be expected to continue learning and staying up-to-date on industry developments.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and enforce the company’s Employee Handbook
- Participate in webinars, continuously share new information with managers
- Onboard newly hired employees to ensure valid employment documentation, company policy and protocol overview, and benefits enrollment
- Work in close liaison with managers to resolve a variety of staffing issues, including hiring, training, etc.
- Research and assess benefit plans for optimal coverage, changes and renewals
- Arrange and host annual Non-Harassment Training
- Assist with weekly payroll across multiple locations
- Coordinate with the team to complete duties and projects ad hoc
1+ years of previous HR/Payroll experience is preferred. A College Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred. Full-time is preferred. Japanese and/or Spanish-speaking knowledge is a plus.
