Position Overview:
The Human Resources Administrator provides recruiting and general HR support which includes employee file maintenance, phone interviews and related communications, managing online database and paperwork and upholding company policies and best practices. This role works closely with the HR Manager to coordinate new employee paperwork and related follow-up including onboarding and offboarding processes and other HR-related tasks. This position requires close contact and working relationships at all levels of the organization.
May have knowledge of confidential organizational information and must protect it as such. Some independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload. Must possess excellent organizational skills, a good knowledge of all positions and functions of Recovery Management Services as well as personnel policies, and federal/state employment practices and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information, phone calls, and correspondence
- May write, design or create general correspondence, memos, reports, charts, tables, graphs, etc.
- Proofreads and/or edits copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes
- Communicates with new hires prior to orientation and provides any necessary forms, directions, and information to ensure a positive new hire experience
- Assists HR Team with the ongoing administration and onboarding of new hires to include organizing, scheduling, and ensuring all new hires have completed the required paperwork in Bamboo prior to start date
- Assists in maintaining database of appropriate candidate pools
- Responsible for offboarding process
- Assists in maintaining and updating electronic and paper medical and personnel files
- Assists in pre-screening, background, driving, and/or reference checks of applicants
- Assists with new hire orientation and onboarding meetings and training
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies
- Other duties as assigned by HR Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university in HR, Social Sciences, Psychology, or Business or equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to think independently and use good judgement in making decisions
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, scanning, electronic files, HRIS administration (Bamboo preferred)
- Professional demeanor and discretion are essential to the success of this position

Requirements:
Physical Demands: General office demands including sitting and/or standing for long periods of time. Dexterity with general office equipment including but not limited to keyboard, mouse, and calculator. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines while adapting to a changing atmosphere. The employee will be expected to make judgement decisions, grasp new ideas, and communicate with various employees and clients at all levels.
