Overview
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator Level I is responsible for professional and administrative tasks regarding hiring of new employees according to staffing needs.
This position is accountable for handling confidential information with a high degree of discretion, and respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.
Essential Functions
- Performs the full recruitment cycle including posting jobs, screening resumes, completing phone screening, scheduling and preparing necessary information for in person interviews, and sending out rejection/offer letters
- Oversees hiring processes and best practices are followed in the company maintaining a healthy level of candidates incoming in the pipeline
- Researches alternative solutions to hiring
- Collaborates with external recruiting firms to build relationships for sourcing candidates
- Reviews and works with managers to modify and update job descriptions
- Oversees and performs onboarding for new hires
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned
Non-Essential Functions
- Acts as a back up to corporate HR Assistants/Generalists
- Assists in entering and maintaining warehouse time tracking for payroll
Required Qualifications and Education
- Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1- 3 years’ experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on Recruiting
- Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management, critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional level of professionalism, and acute attention to detail in all areas of responsibilities
- Exceptional level of responsibility, integrity, honesty, and assertiveness
- Strong teamwork ethics
