This role will be expected to drive outreach events such as networking, university partnership events, and career fairs. The University Relations and Pipeline Program Partner is responsible for generating a pipeline of top college talent from our campus and virtual channels as well as responsible for the development of existing and upcoming programs. This includes virtual recruiting, candidate engagement, academic partnerships, event management, and analytical assessments of talent opportunities.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Event Planning and Management
- Plan and execute all internship program events, training sessions, and on campus recruiting activities.
- Organize and manage events including coordination across Talent Acquisition and business group hiring champions, including preparing the virtual and in person recruiting teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Responsible for content creation, event schedule and site promotion, and engagement strategy.
- Recruitment
- Support the created campus recruitment and pipeline program strategy.
- Execute effective intern recruiting strategies for delivering top-quality talent and meet hiring plans in a timely and consistent fashion.
- Exhibit knowledge of hiring practices, recruiting, behavioral-based interview and assessment techniques in order to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for designated business units.
- Assess talent and generate qualified candidates through cost-effective efforts in a timely manner.
- Build robust talent pipelines for future talent and develop recruitment strategies to ensure intern pipeline positions are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner through collaboration with HR business partners and operational managers.
- Establish strategic partnerships with enterprise leadership and provide exceptional candidate experience.
- Design innovative solutions, leveraging virtual recruiting tools.
- Program Development & Talent Management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish program frameworks and learning objectives for new and existing early talent programs.
- Identify opportunities for new program development and implement initiatives to expand campus program offerings.
- Develop engaging learning content tailored to the needs of the associates and facilitate these learning spotlights, workshops, and events to enhance participant's skills and knowledge.
- Mentor interns and associates, providing guidance and support throughout their program participation.
- Reporting
- Provide management reports summarizing progress towards recruiting metrics and identifying trends that have an impact on the business through business updates/quarterly business reviews.
- Develop and monitor success metrics to ensure we have an adequate pipeline to support Credit One Bank's college talent needs. Prepare semi-annual report on virtual & campus recruiting programs to support continuous improvement of our channels.
- Travel
- Travel alone or with other University Relations team members, Talent Acquisitions team members, and/or other Department Executives to selected colleges and universities to promote Credit One Bank’s college programs and direct hire open positions.
- Attend in-person and virtual career fairs, information sessions, lunch and learns, or college related recruitment events.
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3+ years of recruiting/lead generation and/or event management experience, or equivalent talent recruitment experience
- Experience in designing and developing learning and development content and proven ability to facilitate workshops, training sessions, and learning events.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and data reporting.
- Ability and willingness to travel to university campuses as needed.
- Knowledge of interview assessment techniques such as behavioral-based interview.
- Previous experience in creating and designing a campus relations strategy.
- Proficiency in utilizing various instructional design methodologies, tools, and technologies to create engaging and interactive learning materials.
- Strong and broad experience using social media channels and print advertisement, to engage and develop relationships with external candidates.
- Comfortable and impactful with communication: you will be providing insight into Credit One Bank’s business and culture, and translating that to personalized relationships, providing timely feedback and follow up to potential candidates; at times doing public speaking at external industry events.
- Project management skills to identify, plan, and execute projects and events.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PPT, Word).
- Proficient time management skills to prioritize and organize details to meet deadlines of multiple projects with varying deliverable dates.
