Fraud Specialist Responsibilities

• Investigate flagged transactions for potential fraud
• Address declined transactions promptly
• Proactively prevent fraudulent activities
• Identify payment discrepancies and execute customer refunds
• Maintain transparent communication with payment providers and clients
• Adhere to card brand guidelines for chargeback processing
• Provide prompt responses to customer billing inquiries
• Undertake ad-hoc projects to support the team

Fraud Specialist Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education preferred
• Minimum one year of customer service or support experience
• Strong understanding of payment regulations and chargeback processes
• Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in payment processing and fraud detection is advantageous
