Your Role
JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Business Partner will be responsible for taking a lead role within the site HR Team, supporting initiatives to be an Employer of Choice in line with Business Area HR strategy at our manufacturing site in New Hudson, MI. HRBP will assist in building and maintaining a positive employee relations environment, and drive continuous improvement and change initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Build, support and enhance our local talent development strategy in line with business needs and organizational growth and change.
• With HR team support, implement / utilize corporate tools and resources effectively to support a talent retention and employee development process. Facilitate relevant HR training for managers and employees.
• Assist in enhancing HR processes to support corporate culture and business area people strategy.
• Assist in building best practices in areas such as new employee assimilation and future ready leaders.
• Provide professional employee relations consultation to managers and employees, assisting site management to build and maintain an engaged workforce and reduce turnover.
• Become an expert in working with global HRIS system and connected modules, with ability to run standard and customized reports for management team.

To succeed, you will need

• Minimum of 3 years professional HR experience in a manufacturing organization required.
• Minimum of 2 years technical / manufacturing recruitment experience.
• Must have strong PC skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have demonstrated attention to detail, with ability to be resourceful and initiate and implement ideas proactively.
• Strong preference for organization integration/acquisition experience, or leading change management initiatives.

EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong preference for PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM professional certification, or prepare to be certified within 1 year.
