SalaryIn partnering with our Field Operations (Company Terminals and Terminal Managers), the ideal candidate will have experience in supporting remote employees across multiple states, and be familiar with the trucking or related industries.
This person will be the primary Point of Contact and directly manage the HR function for all company terminals, staff, and drivers. In being a true Business Partner, we expect that the HR team will fully understand the unique challenges of each department or location, and tailor their support accordingly. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, strong experience with recruiting, employee relations, and unemployment is also required.
In addition, we look to this person to identify and lead HR initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies):
- Proven experience in progressive HR roles
- Working knowledge of national and state policies and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Ability to manage change and handle non-standard situations as may arise
Minimal overnight travel may be required (<5%).
This position is located in our corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL and is expected to be in-office 4+ days per week.
