Micro Quality Calibration was founded in 1978 and is an A2LA ISO/IEC 17025-2017 Accredited Metrology laboratory specializing in calibration, repair, testing, First Article Inspection, and sales (162 lines) of precision measurement and test instruments (In-house, On-site, and Mobile Calibration Laboratory). MQC continues to be at the forefront of the Metrology industry in capabilities/disciplines offered to its customers.

What We Are Looking for in the Ideal Candidate

In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our team's development and ensuring the success of our business.
Position Overview: As an HR Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our HR team, assisting in various aspects of recruitment and employee relations. You'll contribute to maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.
What Will You Be Doing
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings and screening candidates.
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
- Onboarding Assistance:
- Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with orientation.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries and enrollment.
- Collaborate with benefits providers and ensure accuracy of data.
- HR Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare HR documents and generate reports.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of HR data.
- Employee Relations Support:
- Assist in resolving employee inquiries and maintain confidentiality.
- Support employee events and initiatives.
- Compliance Support:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in audits and reviews as needed.
- Training and Development Support:
- Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
- Provide logistical support for training events.
- General Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team.
- Maintain HR-related supplies and materials.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Seek opportunities to improve HR processes.
- Provide feedback and participate in training activities.
What You Will Need
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· Experience with Paycom (preferred but not mandatory)
· Entry-level position; 0-3 years of relevant experience in HR or related field.
· Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail in completing tasks.
· Ability to maintain meticulous records and ensure data integrity.
· Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and integrity in all HR-related activities.
