Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures plant staffing levels are maintained to include interviewing and selection, pre-employment drug testing administration, and new hire orientation.
- Performs employee relations duties.
- Maintains current employee data files.
- Ensures consistent compliance to counseling and corrective action policies, as well as other personnel policies and procedures.
- Assist in recruitment
- Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized while working.
- Maintains a safe work environment and works safety at all times.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- Filing documents/Answering phone calls
Job Requirements:
- Previous Human Resources experience is helpful, but not required.
- Computer literate in electronic spreadsheet applications and word processing.
- Experience with desktop publishing and computerized timekeeping/payroll applications helpful.
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with others, as well as the ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to manage time and complete tasks in a fast paced, complex work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Must be able to speak, read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Schedule 8am-5pm M-F
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
