Job Description

This is a remote-telework opportunity. US Citizenship is required.

Amentum is seeking a resourceful, and results-driven Human Resources Analyst to deliver long-term benefit to our HR environment. This role is inclusive of helping support Amentum's compliance needs including all relevant federal and state employment regulations and reporting requirements as well as executive and/or project administration support for the Talent Management & Culture function's needs. Through this opportunity, you will support Amentum in a blended capacity focused on supporting the Talent Management and Culture team's needs as well as compliance processes that emphasize fair and legal outcomes along with collaborating with colleagues within the Talent Management & Culture function. In addition, collaborating across the HR function, along with our external compliance consultants and other departments including Government Audit & Compliance, Finance, and Legal will be essential. This role will report to the Vice President, Talent Management & Culture with a dotted line for additional support to the Sr. Compliance Analyst for related Compliance responsibilities. Responsibilities

+ In partnership with the Sr. Compliance Analyst and our consultants, support all aspects of compliance and annual filings including but not limited to the Affirmative Action Plan, California Pay, EEO-1, VETS-4212 and others, including analyzing, validating, auditing, reporting, and resolving data concerns.

+ Support the implementation of updates to processes, policies and systems resulting from new HR compliance requirements.

+ Support coordination with Amentum's People Systems and Data Management team to ensure that system and process updates are in line with employment law requirements and leveraging data and reporting to facilitate compliance responses.

+ Support HR compliance reviews and audits, including gathering, reviewing and analyzing internal records or reports, and coordinating audit response with Government Audit & Compliance and Legal teams as appropriate.

+ Research external guidance and serve as support to the Sr. Compliance Analyst on monitoring ongoing federal contractor obligations, changes in labor laws, as well as guidance on topics related to EEO, AAP, data privacy, FAR clause adherence, Service Contract Act, prevailing wage, federal sick pay, as examples.

+ Support regular audits and risk assessments of HR processes, practices, and documentation to identify potential compliance gaps or areas of improvement.

+ Review and support identifying recommendations for appropriate measures to address underlying systemic problems/issues to include suggestions on HR policy clarification or development, appropriate training, or other development intervention.

+ Manage GovDocs, including labor law poster compliance, relationship and execution.

+ Support Experian vendor relationship for VOE (Verifications of Employment), Unemployment and WOTC support needs.

+ Support data requests and HR policy management including reviews and updates in addition to cross-functional stakeholder review/approvals. Ensure HR policy site is updated accordingly.

+ Organize, prioritize, and summarize the content of incoming materials, especially gathered information and special requests as well as outgoing correspondence.

+ Prepare and update calendar and schedule of the Vice-President, Talent Management & Culture.

+ Schedule meetings, internal or external as requested by the Vice President, Talent Management & Culture.

+ Attend designated conferences and meetings; assists with department related coordination of and/or activities.

+ Review outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformity with established procedures.

+ Support employee morale related program design/coordination needs.

+ Manage Teams and Projects Site for Talent Management & Culture Function.

+ Assist Vice President, Talent Management & Culture with PCard purchases, invoices, expense reports, reservations, lodging, airline, car rental and other administrative support.

+ Support coordination with i4cp and HR alliance memberships.

+ Perform other duties and 'special projects' as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in human resource administration or related field

+ Minimum of five years professional HR experience, and a minimum of three years of HR compliance experience, including experience with Affirmative Action Programs and documentation.

+ Knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices, including employment laws and regulations preferred.

+ Working knowledge of federal contractor compliance requirements preferred

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize and work effectively.

+ Ability to problem-solve and develop recommendations for process changes and enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

+ Interacts professionally with all levels of employees and customers.

+ Previous experience working in a government contractor and international experience preferred.

+ Self-starter and results oriented.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks when appropriate.

+ Experience multi-tasking in a highly matrixed environment.

+ Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.

+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under deadline pressure.

+ Excellent administrative skills.

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage and influence key stakeholder relationships across the organization.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
