About the RolePREMIER is looking for a motivated individual to be responsible for the day-to-day Human Resources support needed to seamlessly operate all HR programs, policies, and initiatives for PREMIER employees. Performs a variety of tasks and customer-service support to employees for a variety of Human Resources programs, processes and initiatives including talent acquisition, employee relations, leave process and paperwork, workplace accommodations, benefits, and other general Human Resources areas.Assists with researching and writing various Human Resources-related policies, procedures and other related documentation or materials.Assists with audits, surveys, reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with periodic audits and reports.
- Review and approve transfers, merit increases and status changes within PREMIER systems.
- Prepares and assists with the Leave, Accommodation and FMLA process for employees as requested. May answer general questions and provide basic direction of the process and related pay and time-off policies.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving non-exempt performance evaluations.
- Partner with employees and management to communicate various Human Resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
- Ability to support Human Resources Manager with employee related issues when needed.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Manager in investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth and recommends plan of action.
- Conduct leave of absence consultations as needed. Consults with Human Resources Manager when questions/issues arise.
- Review and consult with departments to approve exempt and non-exempt corrective actions.
- Participation in strategic projects within the department.
- Partner with HR Manager on Employment Relations issues to include coaching, counseling, guidance to employees and managers based on PREMIER policies and related employment laws.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must possess demonstrated knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws.
- Bachelor's degree and two to three years' Human Resource experience, or any similar combination of education and experience
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
- Advanced computer skills required, including MS Office products. Strong and proven analytical skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Protects the integrity and reputation of the department and organization by keeping information confidential and protecting personal and sensitive information.
