We are looking to add a Human Resource Business Partner to our HR team!
In this new role, youll provide tactical and strategic consulting on people and organizational strategies in support of business objectives. Working directly within the employee life cycle, youll carry out responsibilities in a variety of functional areas including recruitment, training and development, employee relations, policy interpretation and application, and performance and compensation management.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
Working with members of leadership, manage the employee life cycle process Brand attraction, Recruitment, Onboarding, Training & Development, Retention, Exit, Advocacy Educate, coach, partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, and compensation and benefits Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the Employee Handbook and HR policies Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results Cross train in the payroll function to act as a backup for the bi-weekly payroll administration processing Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, health and safety, and employment law
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience working in Human Resources (preferably in a manufacturing environment) or high school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong understanding with Human Resources including:
- Payroll processes
- Benefit and compensation administration
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Managing employee relations issues
- FMLA/Leave administration
- Employment law compliance
- Performance management
- Employee development
- Regulatory reporting
- Deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations
- Experience working in various HR functional areas especially recruitment, retention, learning and development
- Demonstrated ability o to build consultative, collaborative relationships with members of management and employees at all levels
- Excellent confliction resolution skills
- Working knowledge of Payroll/HRIS software (familiarity with Paylocity a plus!)
- SHRM certification preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
