We currently have an opening for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner for our Farnum Center and Vermont Programs.
At Farnum Center we offer several levels of treatment, including detox (detoxification), residential, and outpatient clinical services so clients can receive the treatment that’s appropriate for their addiction recovery needs.
In Vermont, we provide Child and Family Support Services. We empower and assist parents and children to improve their lives. Easterseals VT has earned a reputation for being a key partner to the state in promoting family-centered practices for child welfare.
The individual in this key position you will deliver HR services, coaching, and counsel to program leadership and employees. This position will be based out of two of our facilities located in Manchester, NH and will require limited travel to our Vermont operations.
Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the Agency’s business planning process for Vermont and Farnum.
  • Analyze program-specific HR trends and metrics to identify areas in need of improvement, and recommend and implement solutions that are aligned with agency-wide HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning succession planning, and program-related policy development.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations in collaboration with program leaders.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to staff (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with all employees to improve work relationships, build morale, engagement and retention.
  • Identify, facilitate and participate in relevant staff trainings and workshops.
  • Meet with employees to provide career mapping and planning. Facilitate outplacement or internal transfers as needed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between programs and HR staff in Total Rewards, Occupational Health, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Payroll, Onboarding, and HR Compliance, to ensure HR and program needs are being met
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Five to Eight years of experience as HR Business Partner for a 200+ employee organization
  • Experience providing HR services and support within multi-site organizations
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or SHRM – CP preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Experience supervising exempt staff preferred
  • Work on site at 2 Manchester locations and travel to Vermont offices when requested
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 8:30-5PM. This position is on site in Manchester NH with occasional travel to VT.
Compensation:
Starting at $80,000 annually based on education and experience
