The Human Resources Assistant will collaborate & assist the HR team with all daily administrative duties. This entry-level position doesn’t require previous HR experience. Professionalism and attention to detail are of the upmost importance when performing all aspects of this position. As Flat Branch continues to grow, this position will continue to form and adapt over time. The HR Assistant position is a full-time position located in the Jefferson City, MO location.
Responsibilities: (including, yet not limited to)
HR Information System:
- Add new employees to systemand facilitate updates and changes as needed.
- Ensure HRIS policies and processes are being followed by all FBHL staff.
- Track and maintain hourly staff timesheets and accruals.
- Send reports to supervisors when advised.
- Facilitate Applicant Tracking System, including the coordination of selection and hiring processes with managers.
Onboarding / Employee Relations:
- Prepare new hires for first day of employment through email correspondence.
- Onboard new staff through personalized orientation
- Promote core values through communication and all other aspects of the position.
- Verify & collect required documentation and forms to ensure compliance. This includes tracking annual required training for all staff.

Office Duties and Daily Tasks:
- Complete DoL & other employment verification forms
- Order flowers/gifts for employees/customers

- Assist team with daily/weekly/monthly emailing.
- Post on Workplace
Qualifications and Skills:
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- High attention to detail
- Experience in an office setting using Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and Outlook programs
- Express a positive attitude daily
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, written and verbal
- Initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision

This position is full time, benefit eligible (Health Insurance after 30 days, 401k after 90 days), paid holidays, 10 vacation and 5 personal days per year, and participation in our ESOP, Safe-harbor and profit share programs.
