Form of workNotre Dame preparatory School is seeking a full time innovative Social Studies teacher to join our team for the 24-25 school year. Notre Dame Preparatory School is a Catholic, college prep, co-ed, IB school, grades JK-12, located in Pontiac, MI. At Notre Dame, we provide a dynamic learning environment for our students, encouraging them to become lifelong learners who are thoughtful people of faith and integrity.
Credentials:
State of Michigan teaching certificate with Secondary Social Studies (RX) endorsement.

Three years teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Social Studies courses for grades 9-12. Create and deliver lesson plans that focus on the students critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills, while providing an engaging learning environment.
- Provide prompt and regular feedback to students based on assessments and in-class activities.
- Keep an open line of communication with parents and school administration.
- Complete additional training and professional development as required.
