Job Overview:
The Mgr. HRIS is tactical role responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures while performing the day-to-day work, and the management of high-performing team(s) involved in working alongside the Information Technology (IT) team(s) in the support and maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Guarantees compliance with guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Performs the day-to-day work while managing high-performing team(s) involved in working alongside the IT in the support and maintenance of internal HR systems which may include database management, network support, installation, customization, and development to applications, systems, and modules.
- Contributes to the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the strategic system road map. Develops and implements short and long term department goals and objectives to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient services.
- Oversees all system upgrades and system additions in partnership with IT. Supports the acquisition of information systems and technology within HR. Leads HR vendor negotiation, selection, and management to establish strong partnerships. Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Identifies business challenges and uses data analysis to help influence changes to the operations, process or programs. Provides oversight on HRIS projects and coordinates with IT, Payroll, and affected HR functions.
- Accountable for the development and distribution of critical reports/dashboards to the organization. Compiles and/or assists with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by leaders and HR staff.
- Develops and manages budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently. Creates and maintains schedules while closely tracking milestones and deadlines. Creates and implements measures to control costs and optimize timelines.
- Responsible for the hiring, mentoring, and development of a high-performing team. Provides guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 10+ years experience in HRIS
- Required – well versed with UKG
- Self-disciplined, motivated, able to work with limited direction, and a problem solver
- An unwavering dedication to continual process improvement
- Willingness to travel as needed
