Job Title: Manager, HRIS Business Analytics
Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas --- 4200 Airport Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas
Salary: Based on Experience
Work Hours: Full Time with typical hours being Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 A.M. Open to hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

General Job Duties: Point-of-contact regarding system maintenance and security, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades provided by the vendor. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix, if necessary. Maintains HRMS system tables. Documents process and results.
Ensures the system is set-up and maintained for payroll processing to include calendaring, general ledger expense accounts, pay groups & codes, deductions, etc. Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Ensures that the HRMS system is set-up properly to maintain State and/or Federal reporting and benefit-related reporting and transmissions.
Works with vendors to add and/or update any reports that are transmitted on a routine basis. Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Manages projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality. Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. Uses the data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users. Supervises, directs and develops 1-2 staff who work within HR and the UKG system.
Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases their HR knowledge and UKG /HRMS application/tools knowledge. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Normal office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology, as well as personal internet access in case there is a need to work from home.
Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. At least 4 plus years’ experience required utilizing UKG (formerly Ultimate) HRMS software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Previous management experience is a plus. Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail.
