The primary focus of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst is the support and maintenance of the HRIS and other information systems for the Human Resources (HR) function. Serves as a technical point-of-contact and works with assigned subject matter experts for functional areas in HR to ensure efficient maintenance and operation of system, to provide for optimum functionality, to ensure data integrity and security, to provide useful reports, to assist with budgeting and forecasting, and to analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities. Maintains Payroll and Human Resources systems data. Organizes and assists with systems upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Establish liaison relationship with HRBPs to provide HR technical solutions. Analyze business workflows to address business needs. Manage client's priorities of projects/requests. Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommend options, risks/cost versus benefits. Deliver training, reporting/analytical support and consultation to Senior HR Leadership and HR customers.
  • Regularly conducts data audits of HRMS and raises potential issues with HR or other functions to correct and maintain integrity of the HRMS and downstream systems.
  • Support incentive plan processes including requirements gathering, system configuration, data preparation, process management, and communication.
  • Assist with the annual salary planning and budgeting process; reviews salary increases for internal / external equity and compliance with company guidelines.
  • Responsible for the administration of annual compensation cycles through HRIS and excel.
  • Complete compensation reporting and analyses for various functions and purposes.
  • Unquestionable integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information required.
  • Understand and maintain working knowledge of, and ensures activities are performed in compliance with applicable domestic and international laws and regulations.
  • Provides an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, demonstrating analytical reasoning, organization, data review and time management skills, with the ability to accurately manage multiple assignments, goals, and reporting requests, ensuring priorities are set and commitments and deadlines are met, with minimal direction and supervision
  • Assists in the ongoing maintenance of all HRMS code tables, upgrades and new implementations to ensure HRMS meets the needs of the department/organization.
  • Document and update processes and partner with functions to increase efficiency and reduce duplication of work.
  • Supports multiple complex integrations and file transfers both internal and external systems such as Active Directory, Benefits Providers, Time/Attendance Vendors, etc.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 3+ years related work experience in Human Resources.
  • 2+ years of progressive technology, business analyst, or project management related experience or equivalent levels of professional experience and training
  • Competency with HRIS applications required, implementing, and having used Dayforce or Workday preferred but not required. High attention to detail - will need to reconcile multiple data sets in different currencies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of processes from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to analyze complex problems and devise viable solutions.
