What you'll do
As the remote-based HRIS Analyst, you will enjoy contributing to the vision and strategy for the future state of people analytics at here at The Shyft Group, ensuring the strong alignment of business goals with applications.
In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to oversee the design, implementation, as well as the support function of HR Systems and Analytics, with the goal of leveraging cutting-edge HR technology and adopting best practices to improve the company's HR efficiency and customer experience.
You will also operate as the functional SME and primary point of contact for UKG Dimensions, HCM and Workforce Management (Timekeeping), Cornerstone Talent Management, and other HR Systems.
You will also:

  • Direct continuing application support and maintenance for UKG and other HR systems
  • Assess upcoming releases for enhancements and new functionality
  • Aid with testing, deploying, and stabilizing new releases
  • Create, coordinate, and document project test plans and direct HR system implementations
  • Carry out parallel, user acceptance, and functional regression testing on HR systems
  • Partner with IT to develop and maintain smooth integrations with UKG, ERP and other applications
  • Cultivate trusting relationships with the HR team and other cross-functional managers
  • Deliver accurate and insightful reports, dashboards, and analytics
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain custom HRIS reports, vendor integrations, and dashboards
  • Curate metrics for headcount, diversity, attrition, performance, compensation, benefits, and leaves
  • Prepare workforce management and timekeeping data for people-related events
  • Provide additional reporting support to HR, Finance, and other departments
  • Develop new processes and tools to ensure accurate people data in our HR systems
  • Perform regular data integrity audits to guarantee accuracy of all reports, dashboards, and analytics
  • Monitor the alignment with retention data to ensure compliance
  • Empower business leaders to access meaningful real-time data via sustainable security protocols
  • Document system design and processes for reference and employee education
  • Share your expertise during train-the-trainer sessions

What you need to be successful
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or a relevant field
  • Three or more (3+) years of expertise in the HRIS field
  • Experience with UKG Dimensions (Timekeeping and HCM)
  • Advanced computer skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with HR system implementations and user acceptance testing
  • A history of successfully working with large amounts of data
  • Manufacturing industry knowledge
  • Versed in managing multi-shift schedules (salary and hourly payroll)
