Our client, a law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support their talent acquisition team and CHRO. This is a mid-level role within HR and must bring prior proven human resources experience.
This a direct hire role, offering $70,000, and required in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Job Duties:
- Support HR function within the Talent Management team.
- Manage new hire onboarding, employee off-boarding, performance evaluation and compensation processes.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal employees
- Conduct HR orientation and complete I-9 processes for all new hires
- Complete employment verifications, reference checks and background checks
- Provide HR reports and update employee information within HRIS (UKG Pro)
- Provide operational and administrative support to CHRO and senior leadership
- Experience: 2-4 years of HR experience within professional services environment, ideally another law firm or consulting firm setting
- Must bring proven examples times that you spearheaded initiatives within an organization for positive impact and change.
- Experience in supporting a team with employee size over 100
- Experience in coordinating multiple HR functions including onboarding, employee relations and performance management
- Technical Skills: UKG, Slack, Microsoft Suite
- Soft Skills: Bubbly, proactive, independent. Likes to build strong relationships with their team.
- Education: Bachelors required
- Proof of vaccination against covid-19: Required
