Position: *12 Months, 21 Hours per week FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Open Date: December 15, 2023 Closing Date: Open until filled
Hourly Rate: $21.53 (and up depending on experience)
Essential Job Functions:
This part-time position will report to the Executive Director of Human Resources. He or she will be charged with participating in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new and existing software (e.g., MUNIS and time and attendance systems), as well as the interface between HRIS and other systems (time and attendance and substitutes). Evaluate department work processes/systems and make recommendations for process and workflow improvements related to software changes. Make recommendations regarding software design issues, upgrades, and security issues relating to planned system changes. Evaluate and report on current and historical employee data to support the project. Assist with training district staff on system changes.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years' progressive experience in Human Resources and/or technology areas
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Experience with time and attendance software, HRIS systems and with Web design required. Experience with WorkForce, MUNIS, and AESOP systems is highly desirable
- Prior experience in assisting in the development, planning, and implementation of large-scale system changes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as Google Suite applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to a diverse workforce
- Customer service, detail-oriented, and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written skills
- Must be a team player and have good attendance
- Ability to move throughout all district buildings and locations
