The Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma is looking for an experienced Human Resources Specialist to perform a variety of HR related duties including recruiting, benefits, administration, and data entry.
Responsibilities:
· Administration of various Leave programs including Family and Medical Leave, Military Leave, and a variety of Leaves of Absence.
· Assist the Benefits Coordinator in the administration of a variety of benefit programs.
· Enter data into the HR Information System as directed.
· Support the departmental Recruiting efforts administratively.
· Perform reference checks as required.
· Research and prepare reports using Microsoft Word, and Excel.
· Provide customer assistance to employees, vendors, and the general public.
· Other related administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Must have at least two years of experience in Human Resources administration.
· Must be familiar with United States employment law—FMLA, FLSA, ERISA, Equal Opportunity, OSHA, etc.
· Must have a High School education.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must possess strong attention to detail.
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy.
· Must have a demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Must have computer data entry experience. Experience with an HR Information System a plus.
· SHRM or HRCI Certification a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
