Job Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of NORDAM's HR systems and applications. Leads systems related initiatives and acts as the system administrator for the talent management suite and applicant tracking systems. Provides project management guidance across all areas of HR and creates specialized or complex reporting solutions.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
•Develops solutions to a variety of complex and unusual problems that require independent judgment and ingenuity. •Supports day to day systems functionality and monitors interfaces with other systems and external vendors.
•Applies problem solving and creative thinking to leverage the capabilities of NORDAM's HR systems and resources. Focuses on optimizing and streamlining Human Resources applications including, onboarding, recruiting, learning management, performance management, salary planning, and succession systems.
•Provides project management for HR initiatives including implementations, updates, upgrades, and a variety of projects across all HR disciplines. Drives project timelines, identifies and gathers requirements, tests, drafts change management communications, and provides end user support.
•Assists all areas of HR with process mapping and identifies opportunities to automate or simplify existing processes.
•Coordinates with NORDAM IT to support HR processes in enterprise systems and to support projects/fixes/enhancements within the Human Resources Management System (SAP).
•Creates reporting solutions, analyzes data and provides meaningful HR metrics. Works with business leadership to ensure that HR data is available to support operational and financial initiatives.
•Partners with Information Technology and/or Vendor representatives to troubleshoot issues and design solutions to meet evolving business needs.
•Maintains strategic knowledge of the current human resources technology landscape and makes related technology recommendations to HR leadership.
Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment.
Education Requirements
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor's degree Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
A combination of education, experience, and training may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years - HR systems, applications support and maintenance or related experience.
Prefer Cornerstone on Demand, Infinite (Brassring) and SAP experience.
Project Management Certification and/or Green Belt designation also preferred.
Skills & Competencies
•Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms •Project and time management skills are essential •Ability to identify functional HR System needs and establish and achieve project goals. •Strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills. •Ability to reverse engineer a process, analyze it and recommend efficiencies/improvements •Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, staff, customers, and vendors •Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn HR Business processes •Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills especially with Excel •Ability to multi-task •Ability to prioritize, manage own workload, follow through, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Additionally, those who work at NORDAM Repair Division must be able to ascend and descend stairs.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Stakeholder is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
