The purpose of this position is to provide onsite Human Relations support and services that facilitate greater plant effectiveness
Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply governmental laws and regulations, as well as established corporate policies.
Assist with associate event planning.
Assist with investigations and prepare responses to personnel related complaints and charges.
Under close supervision prepare, submit and maintain all reports that pertain to HR, safety and risk administration.
Conduct new associate orientation sessions and coordinating/delivering other training sessions.
Serve as a payroll liaison between associates and the Payroll Department.
Maintain accurate records of hires, terminations, attendance, promotions, transfers and incidents.
Assist on projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience in a union environment preferred (if applicable).
An Associate degree in Human Relations or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Human Relations within a manufacturing or sales environment preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficient computer skills with a variety of software programs is required.
Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
