As an HR Program Consultant, you will act as a steward to our organization's culture by supporting employee engagement efforts through our employee recognition and event efforts, new employee orientation, and organizational engagement initiatives.
What's Available:
Full time, 1.0 FTE
Schedule: primarily Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility needed depending on events/ department tasks
Location: Onsite, La Crosse, WI Front Street Office
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources or related field
3-4 years of progressive HR experience
Passionate about Organizational Culture initiatives
Comfortable with presenting/facilitating trainings, and staff engagement sessions
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to take initiative to seek out information and improvements

Job Description:
Works with human resources leaders, managers and consultants to implement programs related to a wide range of human resource related needs. This may include limited development of a narrow scope of programs, but primarily involved with the implementation aspects of programs, systems and processes.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Collaborates with human resource leaders to plan and implement a wide range of programs and processes including those related areas such as core HR systems such as job descriptions and performance reviews, regulatory issues, employee engagement, reward and recognition, education and learning, and a wide range of other programs and processes.
2. Supports human resource leaders by collaborating to move conceptual ideas to implementation plans. Collaborates with other human resources colleagues to implement the plans through to final completion.
3. Contributes to creative problem solving to create efficiencies in how high quality can be established and maintained.
4. Collaborates with human resource leaders and communication development resources to create effective approaches for communicating with all staff on programs related to work that is handled in the Program Consultant role.
5. Uses project management skills to implement projects and programs that are at an intermediate level of complication.
6. May consult with managers on issues specific to a learning or human resource related project or process.
7. Maintains a consistent, organized and deliberate approach to implementation of projects and processes developing and maintaining high quality standards in all aspects of work particularly in follow up and maintenance of programs.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources related field
