Job Description
The Technical Program Manager within the Office of Product Safety and Security (OPSS) owns establishing a roadmap to drive the adoption and deployment of security tools across the enterprise. The roadmap scope spans multiple functions, and delivery into several development environments of varying complexity. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, partnering with multi-discipline teams to establish, implement, monitor, and report roadmap progress. An understanding of the software product development and agile methodologies will be crucial to designing a viable integration plan.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a high-level security tool integration plan based on feedback from cross-functional stakeholders and partners.
- Establish and implement execution roadmap that drives adoption across all Product Development Business Units.
- Define OKRs including leading / lagging indicators, baseline metrics, and targets that demonstrate and measure roadmap progress.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and product engineering teams to understand various pipeline environments to ensure a scalable deployment approach. Identify roadblocks to adoption and resolution options.
- Identify and manage dependencies between teams including DevOps, DevSecOps, Project Teams, and Tool Teams (ALM).
- Execute activities using Agile methodologies (Scrum and SAFe), including the use of RA Project Management tools (Jira and Align).
- Partner with the ALM team to align on sequence and cadence of integrations, as well as address technical issues.
- Conduct reviews to provide stakeholder visibility to roadmap execution progress and risks.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence Business Unit priorities and translate roadmap objectives to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional sessions to remove barriers to execution, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience in product development.
- Understanding of DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Harness, Coverity, Linting, Unit Testing, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Jira and Jira Align.
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
