Packaging Planning Specialist

The Packaging Planning Specialist will be responsible to for planning the most optimal packaging layouts and die costing, keep the tooling library up to date and improving it for a multi-million-dollar global account(s) for many of the world’s most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, and Board Game brands in the world!

What you’ll do as aPackaging Planning Specialist:

• Overseeing or Converting NPI CAD Designs to the CMUSA Artioscad design number
• Creating the most optimal layouts for packaging designs, creating a digital file and saving in tooling library
• Cost optimization of tooling, writing PO’s for tooling
• Processing the die work order and files, send to vendor
• Maintaining schedule of die processing to be on time for press schedule
• Quality of the tooling assurance
• Communication with various departments to better understand tooling needs and translate them into production
• Confirming that all testing for packaging designs has been approved NPI
• Confirming Corrugate details and preparation of palletization
• Maintaining Tooling Library.
• Quality of the manufacturing instructions.
• Planning of your own tasks.

We’re looking for a Packaging Planning Specialist with:

• 5 years of experience in production environment.
• Knowledge of graphic processes and equipment is necessary.
• Knowledge of the Artios CAD system is necessary.
• Basic computer knowledge (SAP, office applications)

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

• Must be able stand and walk throughout shift, lift or move 35 pounds
• Environment is climate controlled and indoors
• This Packaging Planning Specialist position is located on-site in our Dallas facility
