Position Summary
We are looking for brightest top notch HR payroll Specialist to join our rapidly growing Human Resources team. The HR Payroll Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of payroll procedures, and exceptional organizational skills. The role involves collaborating closely with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes, resolve payroll discrepancies, and provide guidance on payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, specilalization in Paychex & Fidelity. The HR Payroll Specialist is a integral part of the Human Resources team and will work closely with finance on payroll processing and other HR projects.
- Manage the payroll process from start to finish for aprox 150 employees, including data entry, processing, reconciliation, and reporting, using Paychex payroll software. Including reviewing time sheets and related paperwork t be consistent with acutual hours worked. by employee
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage and coordinate the processing of payroll-related data including new hires, terminations, benefits, garnishments and deductions
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions, including paychecks, direct deposits, and tax withholdings
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Makes adjustments and deductions for each employee and manage payroll-related benefits; vacations and sick days
- Prepare reports to relevant departments regarding payroll.
- Assist in implementing and improving payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Maintains all payroll/personnel files for the organization and provides general Human Resources support
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, workers’ compensation, unemployment and training and development
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: 49,000-65,000
