Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial phone screenings.
2. Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
3. Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientations.
4. Assisting in benefits administration and answering employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
5. Managing office supplies inventory and ensuring the office is well-stocked at all times.
6. Handling general office duties, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office cleanliness and organization.
7. Assisting with payroll processing and maintaining attendance records.
8. Organizing company events and team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
9. Devise and execute outreach plans to enhance the company's presence within the community.
10. Collaborating with various departments to support their administrative needs and maintain effective communication channels. Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance.
11. Leading and assisting with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Proactive approach to office related concerns
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional HR certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Familiarity with HR software and databases.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
