Description:Webfoot Home Improvement is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team! The HR Manager plans, organizes, administers and oversees all activities of the Human Resources department and leadership of the HR team.
They will directly lead in the functional areas of recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, payroll processing, workers compensation, labor compliance, leaves of absence administration, and employee relations in accordance with federal and state guidelines and regulations.
What you would do as an HR Manager
- Develops and administers various activities to foster and drive employee engagement.
- Maintains knowledge of federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters and ensures organization’s compliance. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Administer benefits programs and liaise with external vendors to ensure effective delivery.
- Manage and administer leave of absence (LOA) processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Oversees recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt workers.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, addressing concerns, and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Develops, prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.
- Develops and maintains a human resource information system (HRIS).
- Process bi-weekly payroll.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years leading an HR team.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or organizational development preferred.
- Understanding of payroll compliance.
- Ability to handle personnel matters with appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Effective team leader with a collaborative leadership style.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to proactively and thoughtfully communicate with all levels of the organization.

Pay: $94,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
