Human Resources Generalist
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma
- Handles all aspects of FMLA reporting, recording, and employee communication.
- Responsible for recruiting.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
- Assist with payroll processing. Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
- Administer Training & Development.
- Assist in developing and maintaining talent management processes.
- Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.
- Monitors unemployment claims and assists affected departments with appeals, as necessary.
- Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, including staffing from temporary agencies.
- Creates and places advertisements with various media outlets.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and the services provided.
- Stays current on recent federal, state, and case law changes and monitors labor law updates and newsletters for changes that affect Human Resources.
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
Requirements:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook (electronic mail), Word (word processing), and Excel (spreadsheet, graphics, etc.) is required.
- Good working knowledge of Employment Law is preferred.
- Require Associate Degree in HR with 3-5 years of work experience in Human Resources.
