Job Description
General:
The HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing and managing a range of HR functions to support Action Seating and Mobility’s goals and objectives. They act as a liaison between employees and management, ensuring compliance with labor laws, promoting a positive work environment, and providing essential HR services.

Responsibilities and Duties:
HR Generalist will run the daily functions of Human Resources including recruiting, hiring, interviewing staff, onboarding and offboarding of employees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviews, scheduling auditions and secondary interviews, and hiring.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
- Acquire background checks.
Offboarding:
- Terminating access for employees exiting Action Seating & Mobility.
- Working with our IT Vendor to ensure they complete the technical side.
Employee Relations:
- Internal marketing.
- Address employee concerns, disputes, and grievances.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance appraisal process.
- Support managers in setting performance goals and providing feedback.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Records Management:
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Save documents to employee files when sent from others in the organization.
Payroll, Compensation and Benefits:
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs.
- Assist in salary benchmarking and benefits reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.
- Relevant HR certification (SHRM-CP) a plus.
