SCHEDULE -
Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm
SALARY RATE -
Pay Rate: $75,000 - $80,000
PRIMARY PURPOSE -
The HR Generalist along with the HR coordinator are responsible for assisting the HR team with safety records, recruiting, employee record-keeping, manager coaching, and payroll processing. Some of their administrative duties include keeping up to date with safety protocols, maintaining training records, assisting with attendance and medical leave tracking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Manages employee electronic & HRIS files.
- Tracks and maintains employee training records in HRIS system.
- Assist with TimeKeeping responsibilities.
- Assist with claim management, ensure completion of all incident/accident investigation reports, update internal reports, and OSHA logs.
- Maintain safety training meetings and records in company data base and HRIS system
- Facilitate communication with employees through the maintenance of HRIS system, bulletin boards, frequently updated electronic postings (i.e., television monitors), and other resources available.
- Assist with the organization of company events and recognition programs
- Supports recruitment efforts as needed
- Provide general administrative support to all Human Resources department
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –
- 5 years of experience supporting an HR department
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and practices.
- Technically sound in Human Resources fundamentals and best practices and the application of them.
- Broad knowledge of safety, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and organizational planning.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with Human Resources Information Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
