Provides support to HR Team, under the supervision and direct report to the HR Director.
This position is responsible for providing general HR support for the organization in areas such as staffing, HR policies, payroll, training, and record keeping. This position is expected to exemplify KoMiCo’s policies and procedures, operational work plans, company calendar and teamwork expectations. The HR Generalist is expected to maintain skills and knowledge essential for successful job performance by means of workshops, seminars, off-site training and research.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Recruitment, new-hire on-boarding, employee relations, payroll input and benefit entries.
- Acts as company liaison between employees and management
- Detail oriented, professional presence
- Responsible for Company On-Boarding Process
- Responsible for payroll and time clock administration
- Responsible for benefit enrollment and notifications
- Personnel records, organizational training and development management
- Utilizes Human Resources “Best Practices” concepts, practices, and procedures
- Responsible for interviewing and recruiting applicants for employment
- Experienced with current software and computer applications
- Prepare and develop power point presentations
- Ability to speak, write and read English
- Able to exercise sound judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships
- Work through cross-departmental development as it relates to HR goals and objectives
- All other related tasks and assignments as needed
Education / Experience:
- Must have HR experience (3-5 Years) or college degree in HR related subject
- Payroll experience (Paylocity preferred)
- Benefits administration and coordination
- HRIS experience
- Experience with Industrial Plant environment a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
