Job Summary:
The Human Resources Data Analyst understands a specific area of work with a singularity focus. The Analyst will examine, and interpret information, aid in strategic planning and process design of data bases. The Analyst will be knowledgeable in business systems and will break down information into smaller parts to use for trending, forecasting, trouble shooting, and in support of the Human Resource Department and Senior Leadership. The Analyst understands business acumen and essentials to troubleshoot issues, support and respond to inquiries. In this role the Data Analyst will collaborate with the Human Resources Department to review data, analyze, and forecast trends to aid in SHI initiatives.
The Data Analyst will report to the HR Manager - Analytics.

Include but not limited to:
- Collaborate with SHI management to support company initiatives across numerous projects
- Data collection & analysis of employee activity across various databases and milestones
- Track & detail SHI and Employee activity across SHI departments and systems
- Generate reports from multiple databases/data sets merging into spreadsheets and/or database
- Maintain customer relationship database – contacts, quotes, opportunities, and appointment tracking
- Write formulas and macros in Microsoft Excel and Access for reporting and database management
- Analyze, interpret, format, and summarize data for management review
- Support requests and project initiatives from other SHI departments based on excel data
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years in Analyst role
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other dashboard programs
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Access for reporting and database management
- Experience with customer relations and satisfaction
- Database management and reporting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to follow direction while working individually and in a team environment
- Analytical mentality to interpret, format, and summarize data for management review
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Tools
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other dashboard programs
- VBA (Visual Basic for Applications): creation of custom and complex macros; Dynamics AX: CRM
- SharePoint: export and enhancements
- FLSA: Exempt
- The estimated pay range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
