- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews
- Coordinate and schedule training and development programs for employees
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
- Provide support for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of HRIS systems, such as Workday or ADP
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or HR role
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Familiarity with recruiting processes and techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in Spanish is preferred
Skills:
- Administrative skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Recruiting skills: Experience in sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and evaluating qualifications
- HRIS skills: Familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Employment labor law knowledge: Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Salesforce skills: Experience using Salesforce for managing HR-related data or workflows (preferred but not required)
- FMLA knowledge: Familiarity with Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations and processes (preferred but not required)
- Contract management: Ability to review, draft, and manage employment contracts (preferred but not required)
- Training development: Experience in designing and delivering training programs for employees (preferred but not required)
