Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will work to support the organization at Hirschbach's corporate office in Dubuque, IA. As an HR Coordinator, you have the opportunity to support all areas of a business unit including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, training and talent development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine Human Resources related tasks including compensation, benefit administration, performance reviews, disputes and employee relations investigations
- Collaborate with assigned business unit to ensure adequate staffing levels for office personnel
- Plans & implements employee recognition programs
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices to assigned business unit
- Performs other duties as assigned including special projects to assist in overall company goals
Talent Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent in education, paired with relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy and energy.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Computer proficiency and ability to navigate between multiple programs.
- Demonstrates an "All In to Win" attitude and performances displays self-motivation and a strong desire to learn within an unpredictable and demanding environment.
