Primary Objectives:

The Human Resources Coordinator assists the Director of Human Resources with implementing Human Resources and Company policies and procedures.


The Human Resources Coordinator originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.


The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for implementing services, policies, and programs, through the Human Resources staff, maintaining all Employee files including ADP and reports to the Director of Human Resources.


Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the following:


· Organizational and space planning; assists with onboarding and offboarding

· Performance management and improvement systems

· Organizational development

· Employment and compliance, regulatory concerns and reporting

· Employee orientation, development, and training

· Policy development and documentation

· Employee relations

· Company-wide committee facilitation

· Company employee communication

· Compensation and benefits administration

· Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

· HRIS systems implementation and maintenance



Additional Duties:

The Human Resources Coordinator will also be responsible for the following:


· Assisting the Executive Director of Human Resources with the implementation of policies

· Filing, corrective actions, appointments, and the recruiting schedule

· Assisting the Director of Human Resources with the development of a superior workforce

· Assisting the Director of Human Resources with the development of the Human Resources department

· Assisting with the development of an employee-oriented Company with a culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance

· Assisting the Recruiting department with ongoing development

· Assisting the Director of Human Resources, and the Human Resources department, while any of the Human Resources staff is taking PTO, or on leave



Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

The Human Resources Coordinator will need the following experience:


· 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources

· Competence in various Human Resources functional areas; recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, and organizational development

· Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to Human Resources

· Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner

· Demonstrates a high level of judgment and discretion

· Self-starter, with a “let’s get things done” attitude

· Must possess a high sense of urgency, initiative and common sense

· Must act in a professional and courteous manner, and demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse group of individuals

· Great attention to detail

· Ability to work independently, prioritizing and organizing workload to meet deadlines

· Strong ability to multi-task and work well in an environment subject to changing priorities and demands

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization

· Demonstrated ability to be a team player with a positive attitude

· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· The ability to speak Spanish is preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline is preferred

· Must pass pre-employment reference and background check
