Touching Hearts at Home of Southwest Boston is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to help us continue to recruit, retain and train the best caregivers possible. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional who has recruited hourly workers using digital tools at a high volume. This candidate will also understand the interviewing process and have experience facilitating training sessions. Lastly, the candidate will have experience processing payroll or experience working on a payroll processing platform.

Purpose:
The HR Business Partner will ensure Touching Hearts caregivers provide excellent care for seniors in Norfolk County with a special focus on attracting and retaining the best caregivers to serve our client base.
HR Business Partner Key Responsibilities:
- Make hiring decisions by conducting in-person interviews.
- Effectively recruit from digital platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Facebook, etc.) and build relationships with face-to-face recruiting sources like local colleges and universities, trade schools, etc.
- Facilitate orientation and arrange additional training for staff.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for fully digital onboarding experience.
- Develop and oversee HR programs/policies to attract, retain and motivate caregivers. This includes hosting hiring events, creating employee recognition/rewards, cultural enhancements, training and coordinating employee events.
- Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for staff and bi-monthly billing for clients.
A successful candidate will have proven staff management skills and a blend of general business, interpersonal, and managerial skills. The candidate will also be passionate about working with seniors and experienced in providing or arranging their care.
- 2+ years of experience working in a Human Resources (HR) role. Preferably experience in a recruiting role hiring hourly workers in high volumes.
- Associate degree minimally required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state and federal employee relations, wage and hour and labor laws (including but not limited to OSHA, EEO, FMLA, etc.) to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Strong organizational and communications skills with ability to supervise employees.
- Willingness to fill shifts as a caregiver personally when needed and serve as "on-call" caregiver.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities in other disciplines as needed.

Our services include light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, safety oversight for clients with dementia or physical challenges, social companionship and assistance with hygiene tasks like showering and toileting. Our mission is to empower older adults to age in place and avoid hospitalizations.
Compensation: $65,000.00 per year
