At Energy Aspects, our talented people and teams are the foundation of our success. We are seeking an accomplished HR Business Partner to join our team supporting our global sales teams and other colleagues across North America.

We are looking for someone eager to make their mark as we continue our rapid expansion. As a vital cog in the operations of Energy Aspects in North America, the HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in cultivating an environment where talent thrives. Your core responsibility will lie in spearheading HR initiatives across the global sales teams that bolster our culture, ranging from talent development to internal communications. Your role will be multifaceted, touching upon key areas like talent management, performance evaluation, and succession planning.

Given the breadth of responsibilities, your ability to juggle various tasks—from ensuring up-to-date people plans with Finance, to collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment strategies—is paramount. You will be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success. You will need to be flexible, adaptable and composed under pressure. You will employ empathy, organisation, and communication skills to foster fantastic relationship with the colleagues, managers and employees and be seen as a true HR expert.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

You'll report directly into our Director of People providing operational HR support to all leaders and employees across our Sales function. You will also be our HR representative in North America and so will support the wider team Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Work with wider People team and relevant stakeholders to help spearhead people programs and strategies that enhance our culture - including performance, management, compensation, talent development & feedback, employee engagement & retention, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand employee and management pulse; manage complex employee relations and theirs and the organization's talent needs.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure headcount plans are up to date allowing for accurate future forecasting and modelling of costs.
  • Key areas of work will include talent management, performance management, employee relations, reward and recognition, succession planning and HR initiatives and solutions.
  • Develop and administer various programs to meet employee needs and drive high levels of employee engagement that in turn creates an environment that encourages open, inclusive, and productive collaboration.
  • Communicate and serve as a resource for employees at all levels on HR programs, practices, and processes.
  • Partner with other specialists in the people team to manage the communication and execution of all employee reward, recognition, appraisals, wellness, retirement, and other discretionary benefits.
  • In conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team, drive overall recruitment efforts to ensure that EA attracts, hires, and develops talent.
  • Working with the L&D team to ensure our people are trained and developed.
  • Provide generalist HR support across the full employee life cycle and support wider HR projects.

About You:

  • Experience operating as a Global HRBP preferably in a rapidly growing SME.
  • Proven desire and ability to improve processes, build relationships, and help the business constantly improve.
  • Expertise in people/HR policies & procedures - and a track record of prioritizing, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable HR solutions that address the needs of the business.
  • Fully developed coaching and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
  • Reputation for integrity, dedicated work ethic, and desire for ownership & accountability.
  • Prior experience working in a fast paced and high growth environment; research, consultancy or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with data and analytics and working with technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of US employment laws, customs and practices.
