Certified Home Health Aide (Chha)

Access TLC Home Health is currently seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) for hospice visits in Camarillo, Oxnard, Ojai, Piru, and Ventura . In this role, you will visit patients in their homes or nursing facilities and visit multiple patients per day.

Position is per diem full-time; $30 per visit made.Mileage is reimbursed $0.70 per mile.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), including eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, brief changes, repositioning, activities, and all personal care and grooming;
• Make beds, change linens and keep patient rooms/areas organized and tidy;
• Ability to show genuine kindness and respect to our patients and always ensure their dignity and privacy;
• Demonstrate proper patient lifting and transferring skills;
• Maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate ability to work well within a team and independently;
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to demonstrate strong time management skills;
• Ability to take direction from RN Case Managers and Supervisors

Requirements include:

• Current and valid California Certified Home Health Aide Certificate (CHHA)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid California Drivers License with proof of auto insurance
• Social Security Card and/or proof of eligibility to work in U.S.
