Job Summary:

As an HR Business Partner at Real, you will play a key role in aligning our human resources and people operations strategies with business objectives while developing teams toward excellence in their respective fields and roles. Reporting directly to the Vice President of People and working closely with the CFO, you will be instrumental in driving a high-performance culture and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Your expertise in various HR disciplines will contribute significantly to the overall success of the company.

Location: US based remote position, candidates outside of the US will not be considered.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to understand their HR needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.

  • Provide guidance on complex HR matters including organizational design, employee relations, performance management, talent development and DEI initiatives.

  • Work closely with People Operations to implement and oversee HR policies and programs that align with the company's goals and legal requirements.

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition on developing job descriptions and workforce planning.

  • Act as a change agent, supporting and managing organizational change initiatives.

  • Develop and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and report on HR performance to our VP of People and CFO on a regular basis.

  • Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution within teams.

  • Provide coaching and development support to managers and employees, enhancing leadership capabilities.

Required Skills/Abilities and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus.

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with a proven track record in an HR Business Partner or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Google Apps, Microsoft Excel, Asana, Culture Amp.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for long periods of time

  • Travel required from time to time

  • Lift a minimum of 20 pounds
