HR Associate
Georgia Collaborative for Unaccompanied Children (GCUC)
The Human Resources Associate provides frontline customer service for the department tasked with managing company human resources records and assisting new employees with enrollment procedures. The Human Resources Associate is also responsible for ensuring compliance with any applicable regulations related to retirement accounts, healthcare plans, and other benefit programs. They will be involved in recruitment initiatives, HR administration, and training programs.
Position Details:

• Full Time employee, eligible for benefits
• Department Human Resources
• Performs a variety of human resources administrative and coordination tasks.
• Focuses on recruitment, hiring, benefits inquiries, and employee records.
• Reports to Senior Director of Human Resources
• Located in Atlanta, GA
• Mostly Virtual/Remote with some on-site required, Travel (0 25%)
• Monday through Friday; 8:30AM 5:00PM
• Annual Compensation is $60,000/annum.

Responsibilities:

• Performs administrative and coordination HR duties, such as accurately maintaining the employee database and providing support for the GCUC.
• Submits online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedules candidate phone screenings and panel job interviews.
• Assists the HR Team in policy formulation and projects requiring the coordination of multiple departments, teams, and agencies.
• Obtains, organizes, stewards, and holds confident all employee records and data for the accurate analysis and interpretation of human resources information.
• Issues employment contracts and verifies process completion by administering new employee enrollment documents.
• Coordinates and conducts in-person and/or virtual new hire orientation and employee training sessions.
• Creates, monitors, and reports metrics on all GCUC programs to help Inspiritus measure productivity, employee engagement, and GCUC objectives.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

• Associates degree in human resources or three years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience planning and applying HR administration and coordination practices for an established organization or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude while completing challenging work.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination and booster is required.

• This position requires primary residence within the state of Georgia.

Physical Demands:
Regularly required to talk and hear. Required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools and controls: and reach with hands and arms. Required to operate personal vehicle.
Employees frequently lift and or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
